Today we are excited to share a pretty cool and fun DIY party favor idea.... handmade soaps with a little surprise inside! Our son Lukas turned 4 yesterday and we are planning a dino party this weekend with all his friends! This is a simple but special take home favor for all the party people and Lukas has had such a fun time putting them together! 

Whats so awesome about these is that you can get creative and customize them any way you like! The sky is the limit!

For our dino party we used these miniature dinosaurs.

We purchased an organic melt and pour soap base which made the process nice and easy! I did a little research to find an all natural base without any icky chemicals or additives. This base ended up being perfect! 

We also purchased this silicone mold to make our soaps.

We decided to add some essential oil to sweeten the deal. :) Lukas chose orange and this Orange Valencia Essential Oil was really lovely and made our whole kitchen smell like sweet oranges!

They really turned out cute and are guaranteed to make washing your hands a little more fun! The germs won't stand a chance  ;)
